Vehicle History Reports Are About Educating Yourself
How long do you take to figure out what kind of new electronic gizmo you will buy? You probably spend a fair amount of time comparing features and prices. Why then do you not take those same steps when purchasing a used car? You can and should.
A vehicle history report puts you on level footing with the person selling the used car. You can know what they know on the vehicle, and you may even know a bit more than they do after you take the time to read the whole report. You will insanely know if it has been involved in any accidents, has any liens against it, or has any odometer issues or rollback problems. All of that is critically essential to understanding the real value that you should put on a used vehicle. You can’t expect sellers to tell you outright what is going on with the vehicle, but you can find out for yourself.
