Even collisions that seem minor can damage systems that are not seen from the exterior.
A BMW is built around a set of complex structural and safety systems. These may include electronic or mechanical components that are subject to damage in a collision.
Metro Auto Rebuild started in 1969 as the body shop for Metropolitan Motors, a foreign car dealership on Capitol Hill. The staff’s knowledge and experience made it a perfect fit to start a relationship with the Mercedes dealer, and in the early ’70s, the BMW dealer as well. At the time both franchises were owned by Phil Smart Sr. and Metro was owned by Jim Quinn. Both the dealerships and the body shop have changed hands since, one thing remains the same quality automobiles, quality repairs and quality people. Metro has worked hard to earn and retain its OEM or factory sponsorships for certified repairs on a number of European brands, BMW being its latest. Rigorous and continuous training is needed to achieve certification, as well as having and using the latest brand-specific tools and equipment. For the past 50 or so years, Metro Auto Rebuild has helped generations of Seattle families get through the ordeal of a car accident. Our motto has always been “ordinary people doing extraordinary work”.
