With the dual chargers BMW managed to eliminate turbo lag completely. They also challenged the way turbochargers handled fuel efficiency. By using an all-aluminum engine block with cast iron sleeves and the direct fuel injection system, BMW produces a cooler engine. A cooler engine translates into superior control, greater fuel efficiency, and an amazing performance.
